Rohit Sharma will hold the customary pre-match press conference in Guwahati on Monday. The Indian captain is making a return having missed the final 2 ODIs and the SL T20Is due to injury. The 35-year-old is likely to be questioned on his fitness given his recent track record of injuries.
India have Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammad Shami also returning to the side. Bumrah has not played since October, while Shami suffered a shoulder injury while in Bangladesh. Mainstays in the ODI team, Rohit has his full side under his disposal for the series.
