Adani-owned Ahmedabad outfit Gujarat Giants are one of the teams in the tournament. The men’s Gujarat Giants team were crowned IPL Champion last season and the women’s team will look to emulate them in the inaugural season. Mandhana is certain to create a massive bidding war. The Giants will try and get her in the auction to make her the leader of the team. The southpaw is highly experienced and with 2,561 T20I runs to her name, and her experience will come in handy while guiding the team during the tournament.
Shweta Sehrawat can be a good partner for Smriti Mandhana t the top. She finished the tournament as the leading run-getter with 297 runs at a strike-rate of close to 140. With a base price of just 10 lakhs, Giants will look to buy her and groom her under Mithali Raj who is been appointed mentor.
Shafali Verma captained India to the inaugural U-19 T20 World Cup in South Africa. Shafali can be devastating at the top of the order and is the opening partner of Mandhana in the Indian team. Giants will definitely try and go all out to make the winning bid for the U19 World Cup winner.

Adani Sportsline Pvt Ltd, which is a subsidiary company of the Adani Group, own the Ahmedabad Franchise. The company is currently focused on developing and managing sports facilities and events in India. Adani Sportsline Pvt Ltd have an ownership right for the WPL worth ₹1289 Cr.
