IPL 2023 Points Table: Rajasthan Royals top the points table after registering their WIN against CSK. Gujarat Titans on the other hand defeated PBKS to climb up to the 3rd spot. Earlier, Shikhar Dhawan’s unbeaten 99-run knock went in vain as PBKS slumped to their first loss of the season. On the other hand, SRH went on to register their first win of the campaign. - Rajasthan Royals: The Sanju Samson led team have taken the top spot of the points after their 57 run win against Delhi Capitals. With 4 points from 3 games, RR enjoy a healthy NRR of +2.067.
- Kolkata Knight Riders: After a crushing defeat in the opener, Kolkata Knight Riders have won two in a row. KKR are now 2nd after two consecutive wins. KKR thrashed Royal Challengers Bangalore by 81 runs and then edged past Gujarat Titans by 3 wickets in a thriller.
- Lucknow Super Giants: With a nail biting finish against RCB and 3 wins in the campaign so far, KL Rahul led Lucknow Super Giants top the points table with 6 points.
- Gujarat Titans: The defending champions came back strongly after their debacle against KKR. They defeated PBKS in their recent game to climb up the 3rd spot.
- Punjab Kings: After a lot of ups and more downs, Punjab Kings are down to the six spot after their recent loss against Gujarat Titans.
- Chennai Super Kings: After beating LSG, CSK went on to beat arch-rivals Mumbai Indians in the El Clasico to take the 4th spot in the points table. MS Dhoni and Co defeated Rohit Sharma’s MI by 7 wickets.
- Royal Challengers Bangalore: RCB are placed 7th on the points table with 1 win and 2 losses. Despite posting ahuge target for LSG at home, Faf du Plessis and co failed to restrict their opponents and went on to lose the game on the last delivery.
- Delhi Capitals: Still searching for a win after three games, Delhi Capitals are 9th without a point. They recently lost their third game to Rajasthan Royals and have an NRR of -2.092.
- Mumbai Indians: Rohit Sharma & Co are yet to find a point in the ongoing campaign. MI lost the El Clasico to arch rivals Chennai Super Kings and are therefore placed 8th on the points table with a NRR of -1.394.
- Sunrisers Hyderabad: New captain, same old result. Sunrisers Hyderabad after losing 2 back to back games, registered their solitary win of the campaign after a 8 wicket victory Punjab Kings.
IPL 2023 will include 18 doubleheaders and a total of 70 league games. There will be seven home and away games for each team. The first two home games for the Rajasthan Royals will be in Guwahati, and the following games will be played in Jaipur. The Punjab Kings will play their first five at home in Mohali before playing their final two at home in Dharamshala.
