Korea Open LIVE: Chirag/Satwik vs Weikeng/Chang LIVE – World No.3 Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty are eyeing their maiden final at the Korea Open 2023. The third seeded pair will be facing World No.2 Liang Weikeng and Wang Chang in the semifinal at the Super 500 tournament on Saturday, 22nd July 2023. • Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty have reached their first-ever semifinal at the Korea Open.
• The World No.3 pair will be in action in their fourth semifinal in the BWF Tour this year.
• They are in terrific form as they are yet to drop a game in the tournament
• The Indian pair sailed past Kittinupong Kedren-Supak Jomkoh and Je Hi Ting-Zhou Hou Dong duo in the first two rounds.
• In the quarterfinal, they clinched a comfortable 21-14, 21-17 win against Takuro Hoki and Yugo Kobayashi.
• Chirag-Satwik duo made it to the final at the Swiss Open and Indonesia Open and are now eyeing yet another final in the tour this season.

• China’s Liang Weikeng and Wang Chang began their campaign with a dominant 21-15, 21-18 win against Ayato Endo and Yuta Takei.
• In the second round they received a walkover rom Chinese Taipei’s unseeded Lee Jhe-huei and Yang Po-Hsuan.
• They then sailed past South Korea’s qualifier Kim Young-hyuk and Wang Chan with a 21-11, 21-10 win in the quarterfinal.
• The World No.2 pair are aiming to reach their fourth final in the tour.
• They won the India Open and Thailand Open titles this season and are aiming for their third title.

Chirag/Satwik vs Weikeng/Chang Head-to-Head: Both the pairs faced twice in the BWF Tour. In both the matches, the Chinese pair clinched victories. Both their meetings came earlier this year at the Malaysia Open and All England Championships. The Chinese pair clinched hard-fought wins in three games. Another close battle is on the cards.
