Ukraine President Zelensky Continues Export on Black Sea Grain Deal: UFC News: According to Zelensky, Ukraine is open to extending the Black Sea grain agreement without Russia. Volodymyr Zelensky stated on Monday that despite Russia allegedly pulling out of the grain contract, Kyiv can still export grain through the Black Sea route. Zelensky pointed out that the original grain agreement was split into two different agreements, one between Russia, Turkey, and the UN, and the other between Ukraine, Turkey, and the UN.

He informed the press that he has already given the Interior Ministry of Ukraine instructions to notify Turkey and the UN that Kyiv is prepared to resume grain exports.

Russia’s withdrawal from the vital agreement has resulted in the official expiration of the accord permitting Ukraine to export grain securely over the Black Sea.

On Monday, Moscow informed the UN, Turkey, and Ukraine that it would not be renewing the agreement, blaming the West for not upholding its end of the bargain.

Leaders from throughout the world have denounced the choice, claiming that it will have an impact on some of the world’s poorest citizens.

Russia declared that if the criteria of the deal were met, it would rejoin it.

At midnight on Tuesday, Istanbul time (2100 GMT), the agreement officially expired. It had let cargo ships from the ports of Odesa, Chornomorsk, and Yuzhny/Pivdennyi to transit the Black Sea.

Volodymyr Zelensky, the president of Ukraine, declared on Monday that despite Russia’s withdrawal from a historic agreement to unlock deliveries from the largest producer, Turkey and the UN, Ukraine would continue to export grain.

He said, “Even without the Russian Federation, everything must be done so that we can use this Black Sea corridor. We are not afraid. We have been approached by companies that own ships. They said that they are ready”
