Asian Games: Swimmer Janhvi Choudhary has been named as a replacement player to the Indian squad for the Asian Games 2023. According to the Swimming Federation of India, the 19-year old replaces a suspended minor in the squad.

Janhvi Choudhary is said to specialise in freestyle events. She will be competing in the relay event at the upcoming Asian Games. She replaces a minor player who has withdrawn from the event after being provisionally suspended by the National Anti-Doping agency. The suspended swimmer tested positive for 19-norandrosterone.
Whiel Janhvi Choudhary finds herself in the squad, she is not yet guaranteed of an official entry to the Asian Games. According to a Swimming Federation source, She will require a clearance from the Sports Ministry to feature in the quadrennial event.
The Asian Games are scheduled to begin on September 23 and will go on till October 8 in Hangzhou, China.
